Abstract Art

I've been away for so long!  I'm so glad I have something fun to post today.  We moved to a new home a couple months ago, so I've been working on DIY home type projects.  Today I finished my abstract art.

I literally just finished about 30 mins ago.  I can't wait for it to dry so I can hang it up.  This was inspired/guided by Style Me Pretty.  Their version is a bit lighter in color....I'm still learning to mix colors to get it exactly what I want.  And I'm very heavy handed with the paint and with movement. Here's my work in progress:

I learned that I like using a spoon to dollop the paint on and spread it around.  So there it is.  Supplies cost me approx. $80.  But I have paint brushes now for future projects and a lot of paint colors left to play around with on my next painting.

Ray Ban

I'm so sad that I think I've lost my Ray Ban Aviator sunglasses.  I did find one online to replace for $139.

Valentine's Day

This year and possibly for many more years to come, we're giving Bella's teachers at school red nail polish with the personalized photo card above.  The banner and text was added using PicMonkey.com.
